Depending on where you live you would not need to worry about doing any kind of lawn maintenance of any kind especially if you are young and do not understand how to do it yet. If you live in a college dorm room, town houses, apartments, or living anywhere on other property besides your own, you would not have to keep up with it.

When you are living in a dorm room while in school, yard work is the last thing you want to think about because you have school and work to keep up with. The head of the college might be the person who would hire an employee to take care of that for you, but it would not be included in your tuition.

Town houses are about the same. You may have school and work as well or one of the other that you do not have time to worry about that. Whoever you are renting from will pay to have it done for you unless you own it. If you own it, then you would either have to pay someone to do it or do it yourself as well as other people if you are their landlord.

There are constantly people working around the clock for the apartment complex community you may own. To keep up with this kind of work, you are going to have to have people out there a few times a week since there is so much land they have to cover. If you have several renters that are starting to complain, then you need to look into the situation to find out what you can do to fix it.

Things may be different if you decide to rent a house because you can offer to pay someone to keep up with the yard work. It is easy for someone to have that kind of extra money especially if they have a good job and is able to afford it.

You do not need to feel pressured by anyone to keep up with your lawn maintenance. It depends on what you are renting because you will have different options but you are not required to do it yourself.
